You can check your next bin (recycling, refuse and garden waste) collection day by using East Herts Council online address look up tool.

For Eastwick and Gilston areas, your black lid, purple lid, black lid and small food bins will now be collected on TUESDAYS.

Please leave your bins at end of your property for collection.

Black Lid Wheelie Bins

Your Black Lid Bin is emptied every third TUESDAY.

It is for mixed recycling: glass bottles & jars, plastic bottles, pots, tubs & trays, carton, tins, can, aerosols. Soft plastic packaging.

Purple Lid Wheelie Bins

Your Purple Lid Wheelie Bins is emptied every third TUESDAY.

It is for non-recyclable waste only.

Blue Lid Wheelie Bins

Your Blue Lid Wheelie Bins are emptied every third TUESDAY.

It is for cardboard and paper.

Brown Lid Wheelie Bins

Your Brown Lid Wheelie Bin is collected every other THURSDAY.

This is for your garden waste for those who subscribe to this service.

Small Brown Bins

The small brown bin is collected weekly on a TUESDAY is for your food waste that has been put into a disposable green bag.
